Culminating almost a year-long collaborative journey with First Baptist Church of Westfield, the Regional Office of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey officially moves to Westfield on Monday, July 22, 2024.

JBLNJ (Jovenes Bautistas Latinos de New Jersey, which translates to Latino Baptist Youth of New Jersey) would like to invite your youth to a night of worship on Saturday, August 3rd.  JBLNJ are youth and members of our ABCNJ Latino churches. The purpose of this event is to gather all the churches in our region and receive the Word of God under one roof.

There was much to celebrate as the Oaklyn Baptist Church gathered on Sunday, June 9th, for worship.

During a recent meeting held by the Council of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, a unanimous vote of affirmation was passed to relocate the ABCNJ Regional Office to Westfield, New Jersey.

On Saturday, June 3, 25 sisters and brothers from the Asian community of the American Baptist Churches of New Jersey gathered at Baptist Camp Lebanon in Lebanon, NJ. What a joyful and inspirational time of fellowship and relationship-building we had together. 

The ABCNJ staff and the Committee on Professional Ministries and Church Relations hosted its first Introduction to ABCNJ Life on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at the ABCNJ offices. We were delighted to host 12 ordination candidates from around the region.
