The American Baptist Churches of New Jersey formed because the earliest Baptists in America realized that the ministries of our congregations could be more vital through cooperation with other followers of Christ. Over 200 years later, ABCNJ is still providing resources, connections, and networks that strengthen our leaders and congregations so that they can continue to carry out the ministry of Christ within their communities.

When you support The American Baptist Churches of New Jersey, you provide resources for over 280 congregations throughout our New Jersey region.

United Mission

United Mission is called our one family offering. As American Baptists, we serve as the hands and feet of Christ. We’re doing what we can to heal a hurting world. This means feeding the hungry; empowering pastors, lay leaders & youth to spread Christ’s love; protecting the environment; promoting Christian unity and more. United Mission is the simple, efficient way American Baptists pool financial resources to maximize the amount of good we can do together. 65% of these funds come back to ABCNJ, which allows us to provide resources that strengthen and empower our clergy, congregations, and surrounding communities.

ABCNJ Regional Offering

The Regional Offering supports the ministries of ABCNJ, such as providing pastoral support for clergy and churches, spiritual guidance, educational opportunities for leaders, and our camping programs at Camp Lebanon. 100% of your regional offering donation remains with ABCNJ.
